last apple harvest day

just to give you some perspective - this little apple tree has produced almost 4 bushels of apples this year!  we harvested the last round today.  they were without a doubt the very best apples i've ever had.

no show day

i realize it's probably too cold in most places to enjoy this delicious, icy, refreshing beverage.  but if you're somewhere hot, like costa rica, or maybe australia, you may need some cold, refreshing juice.  this one will cool you right down.

- one cup of ice
- one thick round of watermelon
- three sprigs of mint (de-stemmed)
- juice of one cucumber

blend thoroughly and chill the fuck out.  namaste bitches, xx.

radical health challenge:
between thanksgiving and christmas go on a mini-cleanse; for two or three days eat only fruits, veggies and fresh squeezed juices.  no alcohol, no refined anything, and (if possible!) no caffeine.  be sure to drink plenty of water, and by plenty i mean a gallon, or close to it, each day.  have a water drinking contest with yourself!  this season is for sure a time of indulgence but anything is possible for a couple days - so go for it.  namaste bitches, xx

birthday day

given my feelings about the numbers 13 and 31 it shouldn't really be surprising that many of my dearest friends are born on these dates.  today is an especially good day, not only because it's shay's birthday but life has brought me a new hilarious, amazing, scorpio, besty also born on this day.
happy birthday shay!  my deepest root.
happy birthday lauren!  my new main squeeze.  
i love you both so much and i'm so happy about you being born. xxxx  i hope i get to see you guys soon.  in nyc and australia.  respectively : )
