even though we acknowledged that it's a terrible time to get a puppy, roo was so sad after zephyr died that we got her a friend anyway.  it's been a lot of work, and we can confirm that our timing was pretty horrible. but when i see these little pals starting to bond and roo teaching finn how to guard the fenceline, my heart explodes.

russ raced across the blizzard covered planes of kansas and back to bring this little nugget home. roo's welcome left a lot to be desired. we immediately had a conversation about how we do not growl at our little friends because it scares them.
