Now I'm off to another reunion. My annual yoga roommate reunion with my yoga roomie, Scorpio besty, love, foreva Lauren! Jax is missing this one due to living in Costa Rica now. This years event took place in Toronto.

i'm really onboard with chicago. i think it's awesome. i love the architecture and the food and the art and the vibe.
i have to say though i find it a bit disturbing that 200 years ago it was little more than a fort in a swamp and within that 200 years
a. the largest freshwater lake in one country has become completely polluted and
b. the river has been made to run backwards so as to carry the toxic waste in the opposite direction.
......but the hot dogs! amazing!

the most peaceful version of bangkok is the city of rooftops and windows and views from above. the street level is hot and heavy with scents good and bad and terrible, polluted with noise and swarming with humanity...
but get some elevation and the whole metropolis opens up like electrified petals on a cyberflower. it's a different world.
